Pink Eye : Pink eye is almost always caused by a virus similar to a cold. Like a cold there is not much that can be done to make it go away other than wait for it to go away itself. Cold compresses often help with the itching and burning. Viral pink eye will not effect your unborn baby. Rarely, pink eye can be caused by a bacterial infection. You should see a doc to be sure. That could effect your baby.
