Allergy: Antibiotic allergy can cause painless itchy bumps anywhere on the body. The cause of the rash is important to determine. I would need to know exactly hen each antibiotic was started and stopped in relation to when the rash began to determine the culprit. The longer you were off zosyn (piperacillin and tazobactam) the less likely it would be the cause. An antibiotic can cause a rash even for a 1-2 dys after it was stopped.

See below: Sounds like an allergic reaction more likely to the Cipro (ciprofloxacin) or the other antibiotic you took over the last 7 days than to the zosyn you took earlier. A yeast overgrowth infection would be another possibility. Get examined by your prescribing md.
