Having babies with your second cousin?

Not as bad as 1st : It is estimated that each of us are born carrying 3-4 recessive genes that can produce a metabolic problem if they show up in a newborn. (cf, sickle cell, others) pregnancies between closely related people are more likely to see these come out. As second cousins you are less likely than first to have this happen, but are not immune to the issue.
