Not an emergency: 130/90 is not an emergency, in fact, it's almost normal. Atp3 guidelines define normal as <135/<85 with 90 being "high normal". Use montebloc (metoprolol) as prescribed, as a maintenance drug, if it has been prescribed for you mother.
