Syncope: Fainting (syncope) can occur as a result of dehydration, cardiac rhythm disturbance, neuromediation or other causes. A careful examination, including a check of ones blood pressure sitting and standing, an ekg, tilt table test and a holter monitor test can help decide upon the cause in any one case.
