No: It is not normal to have numbness that long as local anesthetic effects do not last for that long as that is what causes numbness from those blocks, if it were damaged nerves from the block these are peripheral nerves and they do repair themselves, would discuss this with doc that did block as well as pcp, need to rule out other causes also.

No: Local anesthetics are metabolized quickly as the block wears off. If (it is extremely unlikely) the nerve was lacerated or damaged during the procedure you would have experienced severe pain at the time, something that almost never happens. Compression of the nerve from bleeding or infection would present a host of other symptoms which, happily, you don't have. Speak to your md!
