Neurosurgeon: If you think your vp shunt is malfunctioning or at the least needs some adjustment to the flow (possible for some models of vp shunts), i would immediately get in touch with the neurosurgeon who placed it. Vp shunt malfunctions can be life-threatening. It is better to be safe than sorry.
