White spots: May be from infection (most often fungal or viral), from allergic reaction, from chronic irritation , from neoplasm, from many other sources. Start with your Dentist who is trained to differentiate the cause of white spot lesions.

A few possibilities: Possibly thrush or yeast infection or a viral infection causing ulcers or canker sores/cold sores. Difficult to tell without looking at it directly to be sure if it persists or worsens see your doctor.
