Dull?: This word may mean something different but, if i understand what you mean, i think it is the plaque which adheres to the teeth at night while you are sleeping. If you are a mouth-breather (sleep with your mouth open) then the dryness can contribute to this "dull" feeling. Be sure to thoroughly brush and floss before going to sleep and upon rising in the morning. Drink plenty of water too.
