Swelling/pain/inflam: Sclerosing lymphangitis is a process in which the lymphatic channels become scared and the surrounding tissues inflammed. This most commonly affects the extremities which can become painful and swollen. Use of compression garments and early use of antibiotics when infection occurs are the keys to controlling this problem.
