A member asked:

Is a living will still valid for suicide attempts?

Not related: A living will is a document that is drawn up by you and your doctor or lawyer that directs your health care. It designates a proxy, one who will make decisions for you if you can't, discussed your wishes for resuscitation , articificial feeding if necessary, and other health related issues like comfort at the end of life. Suicide is not a part of the living will discussion.

No: Attempt suicide, and your physician will do everything possible to save your life and health. That's the standard. Why do you ask? Suicide is almost always a bad idea. People who fail are almost always glad afterwards that they failed.
