Common: People do have leg length discrepancies. It is usually not an issue. Just because you are told such does not mean there is anything seriously wrong with you or that you need a 12 week course of treatment. It will depend on your complaint, your general health and your level of activity. Don't hesitate to seek a second opinion.

No but,: They often find some phantom abnormality to justify therapy. It technically takes a specific xray series to diagnose leg length discrepancy.
