No medicines- herbs: I do not know of any over the counter medicine effective for urine infections, but there are supplements & herbs that help. D-mannose is effective for the >90% uti's caused by e. Coli- see http://tahomaclinicblog.Com/d-mannose-for-bladder-and-kidney-infections/ there are effective herbs as well like uva ursi.
