Needs watching: You don't say exactly when your period was. If you are still within a week of its start this may just be "leftovers". If you are on the pill it could be a normal side effect. Spotting also occasionally occurs around ovulation. Unusual patterns can also be seen with pregnancy. If in doubt, get checked.
