A member asked:

What does it mean to have low hemoglobin, hematocrit, mch, mchc, and high platelet count , and sedimentation rate?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Hard to say. : This combination of labs doesn't make any diagnosis. The relative height of your esr, plates and HGB would be helpful. It may be that you have an anemia and that is driving up your platelet count and your ESR is outside your labs "normal, " but not really abnormal.
