The silent killer: In general, there are no symptoms from high bp, hence its nickname, the silent killer. Many people can tell when their BP goes up quickly and fairly high, by getting a headache, and some may get chest discomfort (usually those with heart disease). Hi-bp damages your heart / brain / kidneys / eyes as a slow process over time. If worried, check your BP and if >140/>90, get treated.
