Whenever i eat carbs or drink alcohol my heart races and skips. what is my problem? i'm 22 and have had ekg and a stress test done. bp is normal.

Drinking too much??: I don't know the issue with carbs, except that if you have reactive hypoglycemia and are taking in too much simple sugar, you can get periods of low blood sugar which can cause a racing heart. Alcohol is a different story, which is itself toxic to the heart in high doses, and can cause cardiac arrhythmias, especially svt and atrial fibrillation. Talk to your doctor about your drinking.
