My wife had an surgical abortion about 7 months ago and ever since has had irregular periods.and now since of late her period has lasted over 25 days?

See her doctor: Several possibilities, including pregnancy problems such as a tubal/ectopic (out of place) pregnancy than could be serious. Might also be other problems such as hormonal imbalance (even polycystic ovarian syndrome--pcos). If you don't want to be pregnant, birth control is a good idea. If you do, then also should discuss. Best to check it out. Not likely due to surgical abortion.
