Exercise: Any exercise with weights is beneficial to the skeleton. It is important to remember that osteoporosis affects men as much as women and maintaining bone health to reduce your fracture risks later in life is essential. In addition strength is not dependent on your testosterone levels so by all means lifting with low testosterone is still beneficial to your health.

Beneficial: I agree w/dr. Dougherty. Any exercise is beneficial. With that said, recent study concluded obvious that aerobics better for fat loss & weights better for muscle gain. More importantly, studies also show that exercise increases testosterone production. So you might be able to raise yours via exercise rather than take t w/attendant side effects such as infertility given your age.

Exercise: is always beneficial. It is true that your body will respond better to exercise if you have sufficient testosterone levels. But that does not negate the beneficial effects of exercise even in the setting of low testosterone. Strenuous exercise will temporarily increase the body's natural production of testosterone and so this is another reason to exercise in the setting of low testosterone.

Beneficial: Your gains would be greater, but you can still build muscle. Look at the thighs of a female gymnast. Much less tosterone!
