Go to doctor: What you describe sounds like possible supraventricular tachycardia (svt), though there are many other causes of tachycardia (fast heart rate). It should be evaluated by your doctor. Some tachycardias require treatment, others don't. Your doctor may have you wear a holter monitor for 24 hrs, which is a small portable ECG device that records your heart activity so that they can see these episodes.
