Urgent exam: Although testicular aching may be caused by something benign, it is always worthy of an urgent exam to rule out torsion, or twisting of the testes, which can result in testicular loss. A moving lump is often a benign cyst, but again, you can't take a chance & must be examined to be sure. Stds can also cause testicular aching. Get examined & if you're at risk get std tested also.
