Possible: And if you had a seizure, there might be bedwetting, A.M., aching over the spine and neck, a bit of confusion, and very disrumpled sheets and blankets. However, maybe you bit the tongue due to nitemare or bruxism, and perhaps you did not have any seizure. May be very hard to sort out if this only occurred once. Discuss with your doctor, and monitor.

Unlikely: It is very unlikely a seizure. There would be other symptoms. It is mostly that you just bite your tongue.

Evalutation needed: You could have sleep bruxism which is a sleep disorder. I would suggest a sleep study at a sleep lab. They can confirm or rule out sleep bruxism or other sleep disorders.
