Add 'em up!B6: High doses of some b vitamins may be associated with problems. High doses of vitamin b-3 can cause flushing, itchiness and headaches. More than 30 mg of b-3 can be sometimes cause high blood pressure, gout. Do not take more than 100 micrograms of b-6 [nerve damage]. So add up what's in your vitamins and make sure your b-3 and b-6 are safe levels. Great question!

Possibly: I believe i answered this question before. You don't tell us which multivitamin so we don't know what it contains -- or how much of each. Generally the b vitamins are safe, but you need to add up totals. Some people can develop sensory neuropathy if taking more than 100-200 mg vit b6/day. http://ods.od.nih.gov/factsheets/vitaminb6-healthprofessional/ Niacin (b3) can cause flushing @ >50mg/dose.
