Would you prefer pet scan over angiogram? this is for an avm on my left forehead. i finished mri and mra. we want to make sure which one is better.

See below: Angiograms are specifically for showing details of vascular anatomy. Pet, as i understand it, tests function of different areas.

Angiogram: For an avm, after MRI and mra, an angiogram would be the most appropriate next test, generally to evaluate options for treatment, i.e. Surgery versus embolization.
