Cold sensitivity: The ear is extraordinarily sensitive to pain. More so than other areas of the body. It's common for people to feel pain in their ear when exposed to a cold wind and there is no cure, only prevention. Typically getting some foam earplugs and then covering the ears with a hat is the best solution. Or, allergies can cause a blockage in the ventilation tube that connects to the nose causing pressure.
