A member asked:

What happen if i have hepatitis b ab (hbsab) reactive?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Nothing: If you have a positive test for hepatitis b antibodies, it means you have been exposed to the virus and had an immune reaction to it; or, you were vaccinated, and have an immune reaction to the viral components in the vaccine. It does not mean you are infected with the virus; that would require a positive hepatitis b antigen test.
