Maybe none: For a papillary carcinoma <1 cm (which both of yours are), if there is no lymph-vascular invasion and no other primaries, you have <3 total primary tumors -- and so you don't need to have rai therapy. If there are more than 3, then it is usually based on weight, lymph-vascular invasion, and size of the tumors. I would wait 6 months before trying to get pregnant after the surgery (and/or rai).

None: In my opinion, you do not need rai treatments for papillary thyroid carcinoma of this size unless it is associated with extra capsular spread or lymph node metastasis. If you do require rai, then i would recommend a 2 yr period prior to conceiving.
