A member asked:

Is there a way for to heal my receded gums without a gingivital graft?

Graft is best: Unfortunately once the gum tissue has receeded the only way to treat this area is with surgical procedures.

Remove the cause.: If the cause of receded gum is removed and done in the early stage, the receded gum either stop or reverse, thus eliminate the need for gingival graft. If the receded gum occur at the nonesthetic zone (can't see when your smile), remove the cause (never brush with hard toothbrush, only soft toothbrush) and no graft is needed. Consult with your dentist/periodontist.
