Brittle bones?: Is your baby being abused? Multiple fractures in an infant is a alarm bell for abuse. If this is not the case he needs to be evaluated fr osteogenesis imperfecta. Have him seen br a pediatric geneticist or orthopedic specialist for evaluation and treatment.

Abuse: Multiple fractures in an infant is a sign of child abuse. The child needs to be evaluated for that potential. There is also a syndrome called iatrogenic a i perfecta that may cause weak none and increase the liklihood of fracture and should potentially be evaluate for.
