Possible: If you had an injury it may be a fracture. Not all protruding bony prominences are fractures. The prominence may be as a result of a normal anatomical variant of that bone. It could be a compensatory change of the bone in the area due to soft tissue contractures or a biomechanical abnormality, or it may be due to an underlying bone tumor. Get seen by a professional to determine the cause.
