Fosamax (alendronate) Fractures: Long term use of drugs like Fosamax (alendronate) have been associated with rare stress fracture in the proximal femur. Most sources seem to say that the use of Fosamax (alendronate) for some time is helpful to prevent the fractures of osteoporosis.
