See a dentist: You can try satin or glide floss, but more than likely, you have some gingivitis or gum disease that is contributing to the pain. Visit your dentist for a proper diagnosis, have your teeth cleaned and continue flossing regularly. You will see improvement.

Instructions: I suggest you see a dentist for instructions on proper flossing. Flossing should not be a painful experience. There is also plenty of information on line of how to floss. Here is one site: www.Oralb.Com/proper-flossing.

Causes-: Flossing your teeth should not hurt. Several possible reasons are: you are not flossing properly, your gums are not healthy, or you might have some problems such as decay or root sensitivity. The best thing to do is to see your dentist to go over how to floss, and at the same time have your gums and teeth checked for possible problems.
