Ipecac: Ipecac has been traditionally used to induce vomiting. Often the offending food itself will cause the allergic individual to vomit. This is actually a protective mechanism to get rid of the allergen. I would personally not induce vomiting, but would instead take an anti-histamine if you are having symptoms and if getting worse you may need epinephrine. It depends on how you are reacting.
