Possible: Teenagers can develop congestive heart failure though it is fortunately not common. It can occur because of a congenital defect of the heart. Also certain infections (usually viral) can lead to heart failure. And certain medications can result in heart failure. However, the incidence of heart failure in teenagers is very very small.
