Totally different: Angular chelitis occurs at the corners of the mouth sometimes caused by saliva, if you drool at night. A cold sore is a goup of blisters caused by the herpes virus and is contagious. Angular chelitis is not contagious. Angulat chelitis can be treated with creams while cold sore are treated with anti-viral pills.
