Air in ears: When you swallow, you produce positive pressure in your pharynx or column that extends from behind your nose to behind your throat. This pushes air through eustachian tubes, which is a tube that runs from the back of your nose to your ear. Therefore, what you feel is indeed wind into your ears when you swallow.
