Normal: The infundibulum is the stalk of the pituitary. Saying it is midline means there is nothing pushing it to one side or the other, which could mean that there is a mass either in the pituitary or close to it. Midline is normal. It does not rule out anything else going on, but it is a common thing that radiologists comment on as they are looking at scans.
