Mirtazipine sleep: This medication affects the sleep and is dose dependent.I would encourage to discuss with your doctor to adjust the dose to address getting to sleep issue.The medication is not a sleep inducer its an antidepressant with sedative quality and once your depression symptoms clear up sleep should be in rhythm.Also please let doctor know if using any other otc meds supplements.

Jumping leg: Syndrome is well recognized as a disturbance in the nervous system. There may be a genetic link or it might jujst be as simple as poor diet. If this applies tro you, get rid of all the sugar and sweeteners, including diet and energy drinks + all forms of alcohol and tobacco. If it works--good, if not it will help your overall health.
