Endometrial ablation 6 weeks ago. occassional bloody/mucose vaginal discharge with bowel movements, what is causing this?

Bloodin stool: Need gyne exam to be sure this is vaginal or colon. If colon at 50 should have colonoscopy in any case. Several different possibilities include proctitis ibd or polyposis however cancer gaston always be ruled out.

This may be normal: It is not uncommon to have some bleeding after an endometrial ablation. In some cases regular periods may return after several weeks to years. It is more common to have light bleeding. The discharge could be stimulated by pressure with your bowel movements. You should discuss this with your doctor at a future visit. It is not urgent.
