Biopsy: I think you are saying you have a swollen lymph node. Lymph nodes enlarge when there is local inflammation but this should not persist for almost a year. A blood test may not reveal disorders such as lymphoma, a cancer of the lymph node systems. You should see an ENT specialist or a surgeon who can arrange for a needle biopsy of this node as a screening test for possible lymphoma.
