A member asked:

Should multivitamins n other medicines be taken with room temp water or can also be taken with cold water or juice or tea?

Take MVI (multivitamin) with food: The temp of the water doesn't really matter. For multivitamins (mvi), you will get better absorption (and less nausea - problem for some) if you take with a little food. For other medicines, there are some that are affected by grapefruit juice for example. Sticking with water is the safest way to go.

Does not matter: Since multivitamins are worthless (and potentially dangerous) the best time to take them is never. With other medications, it usually does not matter what temperature or liquid you take, since they all warm to body temperature and mix inside your stomach.
