Could be reflux: "burning sensation" in the chest may be related to reflux. Go see your doctor. A trial of ppi's and carafate (sucralfate) may help determine the cause and may need an egd scope. I have also seen "strictures" do this....The esophagus folding onto itself and you need a dilation by a GI doc. Your family doc could order a upper GI series to help him figure out the problem.
