Meralgia Paresthetic: I actually didn't have room in the SUMMARY above to add the last letter of "a" to the name of what I wanted to write. So, Meralgia Paresthetica is a condition where the femoral nerve is trapped at the level of where it enters the thigh. Numbness and burning sensations can arise. Often it is on both sides but can be only on one. See your doctor and if appropriate a neurologist.
