Had cystoscopy c/ tiss. biop.; dr. said saw nothing; waiting for results of biopsy; what do biops show that can't b seen during cystoscopy & dstntion?

Biopsy: When a biopsy done the tissue is looked at under a microscope. This is done to tell if the cells are cancer....Sometimes just looking you cannot tell.

Cystoscopy: Possibly your urologist suspects interstitial cystitis. Not a diagnosis that can be made visually. Biopsy can help confirm this chronic bladder condition.
