Surgical: If the cartilage septum dividing your nasal airways is not straight, it will result in recurrent drainage, sinus infections, snoring, and severe congestion. There are no medications which can correct this flaw in your anatomy. Have the septum corrected, including the nearby turbinate structures inside your airway. If you also have allergies, you may still need medication help, but airway 1st.

Deviated Septum: A deviated nasal septum can make it more difficult to breathe through the nose and can make the nose look crooked. The breathing problem can be helped by surgery to remove or straighten the deviated septum. Health insurance may pay for this. Surgery can also be done to improve a crooked nose. This is a cosmetic procedure that most health insurance companies do not pay for.

Deviated septum: A deviated septum can be corrected surgically to bring the septum to the midline. If there are symptoms like nasal obstruction, snoring or recurrent sinusitis, have your nose evaluated by a board certified otolaryngologist.
