Appointment?: Most dental offices work on appointments.. You need to reserve a time to be seen. Some clinics offer walk in service, where you will have to wait your turn. Call ahead to find out.

Sure: You will likely have to pay for x-rays and an exam. It is important to get x-rays done periodically to catch problem areas as early as possible.

Sure, but why?: No dentist will force you to do or get anything that you do not want or consent to. You should have a complete & thorough clinical exam & appropriate number of x-rays based upon the date of your last exam and your current dental conditions. Find out what needs to be done, why & how. They decide what you want to do. Find a dentist that you trust & follow his\her advice. Get 2nd opinion if unsure.
