Accurate Diagnosis?: Simple episcleritis is, by definition typically seen in 30-40 yr women. Lasts 2-4 weeks, causes no damage, just redness, tearing, and slight eye discomfort. Most often treated with cooled artificial tears, sunglasses, perhaps NSAID orally, mild steroid drops may be needs for a very brief time (days). If this is not you, then perhaps the diagnosis needs further investigation.
