Accurate Diagnosis?: Simple episcleritis is, by definition typically seen in 30-40 yr women. Lasts 2-4 weeks, causes no damage, just redness, tearing, and slight eye discomfort. Most often treated with cooled artificial tears, sunglasses, perhaps NSAID orally, mild steroid drops may be needs for a very brief time (days). If this is not you, then perhaps the diagnosis needs further investigation.

Lubricate: Try aggressive lubrication with preservative free tears one drop every 1- 3 hours all day, warm compresses, oral omega-3's. The environment during the weather and heating systems my be drying the air and your eyes out more.
