What are some common eye issues that are related to diabetes?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Blurry vision and..: In early diabetes, there may not be any symptoms at all. As it get worse with blood sugar getting higher, the sugar gets into the eyeballs and your vision may get blurry, which can fluctuate depending the sugar levels. As diabetes worsens, blood vessels/retinal damage causes vision loss. Diabetes also increase risk of cataracts. So see doc regularly. Good luck.
