Sugar control: You can help with your eyes by keeping your blood sugar under control and see your eye doctor regular. The A1c goal is established based on your risk of getting eye disease, thus if you follow ada criteria, keep your A1c < 7%, if you follow aace criteria, keep A1c < 6.5%.

Sugar control: Not much unfortunately. Keep your FBS at low 100's, and see your eye doctor routinely.
