Fallopian tube check: This is a test to make sure your fallopian tubes are open and will allow an egg to travel downstream into the uterus. The test injects a colored dye into the uterus. This dye should travel up through the fallopian tube and exit the fallopian tube at the far end. If no dye is seen, the tube is blocked.
